The Tux Road is two-lane with a maximum gradient of 10 %. It is well cleared and spread with gravel in winter. Snow chains are required when new snow falls. Weight restriction: 16 tons. No trailers. Maximum height through avalanche galleries: 4.20 meters).
Railway	Express railway station: Jenbach/Tyrol. Ziller Valley Railway Company (train or bus service) to Mayrhofen, Post-bus service from Mayrhofen to Hintertux. From the Express railway station Jenbach/Tyrol directly to Tux by favourable terms with the taxi service of Siegfried's Taxi or Taxi Erler.
